Brunei Darussalam recorded a significant milestone in its cruise tourism sector with the consecutive arrivals of two major international cruise vessels at the Muara Cruise Ship Centre.

The Norwegian Sun made its port of call to Brunei, bringing more than one thousand passengers and 910 crew members, followed by the arrival of the Costa Serena, carrying around 2,741 passengers and one thousand crew members. The cruise ship passengers were warmly welcomed with traditional performances and cultural showcases, creating a festive atmosphere that reflected the local hospitality and rich heritage. Passengers also participated in curated shore excursions to the country's key attractions.
